Digital Ink Joins the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA)
Digital Ink is proud to announce our official membership in the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) – reinforcing our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and supporting the continued growth of the print sector.
For over 30 years, the IPIA has been at the heart of the UK print industry, creating a platform where printers, suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers can connect, learn, and thrive. From championing sustainability to promoting automation and software integration, the IPIA’s work ensures that the voice of print is not only heard but also acted upon at the highest levels.
A Shared Mission
“We’re thrilled to become part of the IPIA community. It’s a hub where innovation in print meets a collaborative spirit,” said Chris Minn, CEO of Digital Ink. “As the print industry evolves, the IPIA continues to lead the way on everything from automation and software integration to marketing strategy and sustainability. It’s a great time to plug back in.”
Chris brings a long-standing connection to the association, having previously served on the IPIA council. Reflecting on that experience, he added:
“I’ve always been proud of the IPIA’s efforts, including that memorable visit to Number 10 Downing Street. I’m excited to see how we can contribute to the ongoing growth of one of the world’s best industries.”
Julie Minn, COO of Digital Ink, shared her perspective:
“What excites me most about rejoining the IPIA is the shared ambition. It’s a space where like-minded people collaborate, push boundaries, and stay ahead of what’s next. We’re looking forward to adding our voice to that kind of community.”
Why IPIA Matters
The IPIA is a not-for-profit trade association founded in 1990, dedicated to supporting and growing the print industry. It does this by:
• Providing expert advice, training, and professional development across the supply chain.
• Hosting events and networking opportunities that foster stronger partnerships.
• Representing the print sector in government, advocating for supportive policies.
• Sharing market intelligence and best practices, while encouraging sustainability and inclusion.
Their advocacy is not just symbolic – from industry-wide initiatives to high-profile representation at places like Number 10 Downing Street, the IPIA consistently demonstrates its commitment to ensuring print remains a vibrant, forward-thinking industry.
Looking Ahead
As new members, Digital Ink looks forward to contributing to IPIA events, thought leadership, and initiatives that help elevate the standards and visibility of print in a modern marketing landscape.
By joining the IPIA, we’re not just connecting with an organisation – we’re joining a community of people passionate about keeping print strong, sustainable, and innovative for years to come.
